Thanks, Class Three

Born in a cooking family, Cai Cai, the heroine, becomes a member of the third class and meets Liao Yingzi, a “poisonous” gourmet tutor, by a strange chance. She meets Liao Yingzi, a “poisonous” gourmet tutor. Although Liao Yingzi is a harsh critic, he makes her improve without her realizing it, and she hates and admires him at the same time. In the course of their encounters, the two become friends. With the power of cooking, Cai Cai helps her classmates to solve many problems, and with the encouragement of Liao Yingzi, she is able to resolve a long-standing family conflict.

Wok with Yan

Wok with Yan was a Chinese cuisine cooking show starring Stephen Yan. The show was first produced in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada by the CBC at CBUT from 1980 to 1982. A second edition of the show was also produced in the early 1990s. The popular series was syndicated internationally in United States, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore for years. The humorous aprons also complemented his humour that consisted of spontaneous one-liners spoken with his trademark Cantonese accent or him playing with his food or cookware. That, combined with his energetic personality, endeared him to Canadian viewers. Prior to him preparing his stir fry cuisine, the show usually featured a vignette of Yan travelling to different vacation spots from around the world. He always invited an audience member to come up and eat with him near the end of each episode, and had a fortune cookie reading before the meal.

Concorde: The Untold Story

CONCORDE: THE UNTOLD STORY is a two-episode documentary that goes inside the race to build the first supersonic airliner at the height of the Cold War, with Europe's Concorde racing against the Soviet TU144 and the American Boeing 2707. The two-parter unearths a tale of espionage and national prestige as the British and French battled their counterparts, while examining the technical challenges in the battle for supersonic passenger jet supremacy. They all ultimately end in failure.

“Salt and Sugar” is the first Syrian work shown on Syrian television in 1973 during the month of Ramadan, and its events take place inside the prison when the social worker (Sabah Al-Jazairi) visits the prison to search for the cause of the prisoners’ delinquency, and (Dhiab Mashhour) sings the song “Alamaya,” and remembers Ghawar Al-Tosha (Duraid Lahham) is his mother and longs for life outside the bars. He sings his famous songs “Lou Lou Lou” and “Oh my beloved woman, ya mo.” The artist Dhiyab Mashhour also sings “Ya Abourdin.” The artist Taroub also presented two songs, “Tik Tok,” as part of a competition organized by Hosni. Al-Borzan (Nihad Qalai) inside the prison, through a Syrian comedy act starring Duraid Lahham and Nihad Qalai, in collaboration with Yassin Bakoush, Naji Jabr, Najah Hafeez, Abdul Latif Fathi Sabah Al-Jazairi and others, and the work is directed by Khaldoun Al-Maleh.

Natural World

Natural World is a nature documentary television series broadcast annually on BBC Two and regarded by the BBC as its flagship natural history brand. Biography

Biography is a documentary television series. It was originally a half-hour filmed series produced for CBS by David Wolper from 1961 to 1964 and hosted by Mike Wallace. The A&E Network later re-ran it and has produced new episodes since 1987. The older version featured historical figures such as Helen Keller and Mark Twain, or long-dead entertainment figures such as Will Rogers or John Barrymore. The A&E series has placed the emphasis on such people as Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Plácido Domingo, Freddie Mercury, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Eric Clapton, Pope John Paul II, Gene Tierney, Selena, Diego Rivera, Mao Zedong and Queen Elizabeth II, and fictional characters like The Phantom, Superman, Hamlet, Betty Boop, and Santa Claus. The program ended up profiling enough figures that in 1999, A&E spun it off into an entire network, The Biography Channel.

30 for 30 is the title for a series of documentary films airing on ESPN, its sister networks, and online highlighting interesting people and events in sports history.
