The peaceful daily routine of father and son is interrupted by an encounter of an unfamiliar boy, different from them in color. Can we really insist on our personal belief system, when what we must believe in, is dictated to us? The film presents how easily we acquire fear and hatred of foreigners, as well as how easily we might become the "strangers" and "others" ourselves.
The visual style of the film is inspired by ancient tribal symbols, which constantly morph into each other. They represent life in a womb-like frame.

"I wanted badly to make an animated short and had no camera available. I did have some old, unused film stock and several roles of 16mm sound tape. So I used that- plus a variety of of discarded surgical instruments and the sharp edge of a screwdriver- by cutting, etching, and painting directly on both film and tape."
