A stubborn old man goes about his daily routine, struggling with every task due to his age. He hears a ring from the doorbell, finds a robot has been sent to aid him in his old age. As he goes about his daily routine the robot continually tries to aid him, much to his annoyance.

His teacher has a hard time with it, she doesn't like snow and just wants winter to end. One day everything changes when Giovanni imagines that the snow is actually created by a cat: The Winter Cat.

The Bob animation tests were created on Alias computer systems. The Megabyte/Hacker segment is from an even earlier animation test created on the same FGS system used to create Money For Nothing. This footage was transferred from D1 video tape (originally recorded from VHS) and restored by the ReBoot ReWind crew: Jacob Weldon, Raquel Lin, Mark Westhaver & Bryan Baker.

Winter comes, and the grasshopper, near starvation, stumbles across the ants, who are having a full-on feast in their snug little tree. They take him in and warm him up.
