In the bustling city of Porto Alegre, stories intertwine in a scenario full of emotions and dilemmas. Priscila, Júlia, Joca, Guilherme, Leonardo, Maurício, and Bernardo face their anxieties and dilemmas, and the narrative unfolds in a web of interpersonal relationships marked by encounters and mismatches. Against a backdrop of expectations and social pressures, each person searches for their truth, navigating the turbulence of existence in search of a more promising future.
Caye is a young prostitute whose family is unaware of her profession. She meets her striking Dominican neighbour Zulema, an illegal immigrant, after she finds her in the bathroom, badly beaten up. They strike up a close friendship unbeknownst to Caye's xenophobic co-workers.
