In the Warberg comedy tour '16, Thomas focused on how we treat each other - a topic that has preoccupied and sometimes frustrated him to such an extent that it became a show. Warberg is one of Denmark's most prolific comedians and is loved for his sharp one-liners. The audience was able to experience a whole new side of the popular gentleman as he entertained with some slightly longer jokes than we are used to from his hand. Of course, still served at the same fast pace that characterizes his style.
Denmark's Stokkefar is now ready with his third and funniest one-man show to date. This also marks the end of the trilogy, which tells the story of one of the country's most popular, beloved and award-winning comedians. (Did he write this himself?...shut up!).
It's been over two years since we last spoke, and boy has a lot happened! The pandemic is over, Europe is at war and Thomas has been diagnosed with high cholesterol. Not only that, but he also has involuntary urination, has started watching reality TV, has been to Noma, got a new bathroom, and he's starting to think that maybe he's halfway through life, and has everything really turned out as it should? What's the point! Is he the best version of himself? Is society?!!! SHOULD EVERYTHING REALLY BE SO MUCH BETTER?!?!? OH MY GOD!!! Wait!!! Isn't it better that we just get together and have a laugh about it all? And oh yeah... I guess he's a father too.
I think we've all been longing for something to laugh about. And I've really missed getting out and performing and meeting my beloved live audiences. I can't wait to see them all in the venues. This time it will be pure stand-up from the top shelf. In order to tour during a pandemic and war, you need an easily adaptable set-up... so all I'm bringing is the microphone, myself... and jokes - lots of jokes. Get ready... it's going to be a blast!
Mads de Krak has been doing stand-up for 9 years, and right now he enjoys it more than ever, which is why he's decided to take the comedy scene seriously and spread his craziness further than ever before. Standup comedy is a somewhat different career choice, it's not universally accepted and it can be difficult to defend in some contexts. The big question is, can Mads achieve “Madsere of success?” when he turns topics from big to small in his show and shares his crazy observations and peculiar everyday problems. Throughout the show, Mads brings up several different themes that don't necessarily have a common denominator other than jokes and laughter as the main goal.
